If you live in West Berkshire you will know what the local politics are like around here - grey and out of date. The Tories and Lib Dems fight aggressively on opposite sides of the fence (regardless of the issue) and the bun fighting between them has left us with an inept Council, stale policies and no progress.
We propose something different. Our policies are clear and our objectives are simple: we are here to ensure that we all improve our quality of life and ensure that we keep that quality for future generations. The Lib Dems are always playing catch up with one of the other parties and are just too slow to react to challenges of the real world.
But it’s the bickering between the Tories and Lib Dems has left West Berks Council stalled with no new ideas. It’s about time that the council promotes quality of life and sustainability”, Adrian Hollister.
Get Involved
West Berkshire Green Party is one of the most active and fastest growing local Green Parties in the country and with a 77% increase in our vote in the Euro elections we are going from strength to strength.
There has never been a better time to get involved with the work of the Green Party. Any help you give us, from a regular donation to work on the doorstep, will make a real difference to getting more Greens elected to create a fairer, cleaner, more affordable future for everyone.
Volunteer
We always welcome volunteers to help with our campaigning work. Could you help deliver our newsletters to your street, or go out with our campaign team and speak to local residents about their concerns?
We are particularly keen to find more volunteers with fundraising experience or database skills and we always require help with leaflet deliveries. Whatever your level of experience and however much or little time you can give, we would love to hear from you.
